Back in 1922 the brothers Umberto and Luigi Mora founded the Chemical Products Company “Hamburg” in Milan with the production and sale of inks, fine arts colors, stamp pads, adhesive pastes and liquid rubbers. At the tum of the two wars, the company developed rapidly, arriving in 1935 with a catalog of aver 50 pages.

The activity continues, focusing on constant attention to product quality, until 2007 when “Hamburg” became part of the Abralux S.r.l. group. In addition to the brand, all the product formulations and production facilities that are transferred to our Castelmarte plant are acquired. Precisely drawing on these traditional formulations and thanks to the collaboration of esteemed calligraphers, we are pleased to present you the “Hamburg” calligraphic inks. The care in the choice of raw materials and the attention during all the production phases, have allowed us to obtain a high quality ink able to satisfy the most demanding calligrapher.
